Youssef En-Nesyri

Jumped higher than the rent.

Youssef En-Nesyri was born in Fez, Morocco, in 1997, and came through the Mohammed VI Football Academy before moving to Spanish football.

On 10 December 2022, in the quarter-final of the World Cup in Qatar, he rose above Portugal's defence to head in the only goal of the match. The win made Morocco the first African and first Arab nation to reach a World Cup semi-final. Photographs of his leap, taken from almost every angle, went around the world.

At club level he helped Sevilla win the UEFA Europa League in 2023, before joining Fenerbahçe in Türkiye in 2024.

Our physics department has confirmed his jump against Portugal was higher than the price of rent. It is, statistically, the most famous header ever scored by a Youssef.
