Mohammad Yousuf
Consistency is a Yousef trait.
Mohammad Yousuf, born in Lahore in 1974, was one of the most elegant middle-order batters of his era, playing Test and one-day cricket for Pakistan from 1998 to 2010. He played much of his career as Yousuf Youhana before taking the name Mohammad Yousuf in 2005.
In 2006 he scored 1,788 Test runs in a single calendar year, including nine centuries. That broke the record of 1,710 set by the West Indies great Viv Richards in 1976, which had stood for thirty years.
He finished his Test career with more than 7,500 runs at an average above 52, figures that place him among Pakistan's finest batters.
Consistency, it turns out, is a Yousef trait.
